Your first steps!

So, you have been checking around our server in spectator, or maybe you’ve been reading some of our forum, and you want to start playing? Well, here are the basic steps you can go through to get you started.

SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

First things first, to start playing you are going to need to be whitelisted, here is how you do it.

1. Create a forumotion account

Chances are, you already have one, but here is where to make it.

2.the application template

Go to the application template, either here or at the top of the page, and copy it.




Then go to the submissions category here and create a new topic.




Paste the template, answer it (you can format it if you wish) and post it.

3. Wait!

Our team looks at the submissions regularly. The result of your application will be notified through our discord too!

Characters and chats

Once getting accepted, here’s how you can start rp’ing or interacting with our community.

Joining a channel

Join a channel to start speaking.The list of channels can be shown through /listchannels /listchan or /listchatchannels IRP, whisper and shout are different RP channels. Emote is for narration and OOC is a global out of character channel. In any chat, using ** will come out in the narration format, while using “” will come out in the character speech format.

The rp channels default to character speech, and the emote ones to narration.

Characters

Managing a character is quite simple, here are all the commands related to them.

/character new

Creates a new character, sends you to spawn and shows you your new character card
/character delete[character name]	This will delete your character, it will send a confirmation message beforehand to which you need to send “yes” to confirm or “cancel” if you mistyped
/character card	Sends you the card of your active character (your character card has buttons for you to edit each section)
/character set [name, age, race, description]	It will let you change the name, age, race or description of your character
/character list	It will send in chat a list of all of your characters
/character switch [Character name]	it will change your character. (This will also tp you to the other character’s location and change your inventory)

• You can check another player’s character card by shift clicking on them.
  
• Signing books will have your character’s name (this allows you to change your name to sign things as anonymous or as institutions. E.g. “Signed by The Council of Cnandaghir”)
