Appearance

A typical Siovarshí often will have less sharp teeth than most creatures, due to the minimal usage of meat within their diets, thus making their teeth more used for eating fish and less tough foods, however it is still possible, although difficult, for Siovarshí to eat tougher foods. Siovarshí males and females often grow to around the same height however with males growing slightly quicker, with males growing to be about 5'8, and females growing to be about 5'7. Siovarshí also have a wider array of natural hair colors. Along with that, Siovarshí also have arcane luminescent eyes in order to be easy to find by fellow Siovarshí

         Clothing

Considering their close resemblance to  humans, Siovarshi are easy to identify,  as their attire is a unique one.
Obviating undergarments, their clothing consists of a base layer made up of a traditional cavian shirt or chemise and a pair of looser pants.  Over that, it is common for Siovarshí to wear some sort of scarf  that can be used to cover the face or some slightly small cape. The final layer consists on a pair of capes or robes that each cover around a half of one's body.  These can be connected through buttons,  but  overlapping is the most common disposition.

         Glowing eyes

As mentioned before, the siovarshi have glowing eyes. They have served as a way to recognize one of their kind in the dark, but their color also changes according to the emotions they are feeling. The following list numbers what those colors might mean:

Personality

Siovarshí have close bonds to their family, reflecting that fact in their evolution which more often than not, was to ensure one could more easily identify their kin. Siovarshí are primarily social and friendly in regards to one another, however see “outsiders” (those who do not speak Varshí or Palui) as primarily untrustworthy, a prejudice that can be traced back to prioritizing one's own kin over others.

Naming conventions

Siovarshí names tend to be based more on what the newborn reminds the parents of, the behavior of the newborn, or the time/conditions they were born in, usually shortening words down. Examples of names may include;

Male Names‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Female Names
Dátché (Dátré báché - Day spirit)
Sineri (unsure origin)
Inrós (In raós - interesting [behavior])
Sórbh (Sórbhírn - Diamond)
Síorta (Síortícd - Cyan)
Iqésá (Iqhé’sás - fifth cycle)
Róba (Róbha - Night)
Sórlúa - (Sóruad - Flower)

Surnames are usually nouns or adjectives, sometimes and often a combination of both. Surnames are inherited from the person who the marriage is proposed to (their pre-marriage name), however if the person who proposed is of a higher class, often a “pésdéc aurun” (name pact) is signed which decides the name for offspring of the couple. During a marriage however, unless a pésdéc aurun is signed, those in the couple’s surnames are as follows; (given surname [surname of whom you are married to]) + (surname).
